Join Maddie Corsaro for a workshop with a focus on monotype printmaking. This form of printmaking consists of painting with ink onto a piece of plexiglass, then printing it onto paper with an etching press. This workshop will cover subtractive, additive, direct trace drawing, plus collage and registration techniques for adding layers. Mix and match techniques to create 2-4 entirely one-of-a-kind prints.
Participants will bring reference images to work from—landscapes, figures, and images with strong lighting are nice but it can be anything! No prior experience is required, but some drawing, painting, or printmaking skills would be beneficial.
