Seeing things from a new perspective

Urban Sketching Workshop with Andy Reddout

Join artist and educator Andy Reddout for this workshop and explore alternative points of view, identifying interesting subjects and compositions from everyday sights, back alleys, and side streets. Finding unnoticed, gritty and grimy subjects can lead to new and interesting drawings and paintings! In this workshop, you will learn how to improve your composition; some pointers on 1 and 2 point perspective and creating visual impact with graphic shapes.

The day will start with sketching a few studies focusing on composition. Then taking one of those sketches and creating a more finished piece. The workshop will conclude with a “sketchbook throwdown” at the end of the course!

Saturday, August 19 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
$45 per person
