ARTIST STATEMENT

I create densely detailed drawings and sculptural works with the aim of portraying the primacy of the natural world, entangled as it is with our human lives in complex, necessary and fascinating ways. I populate works with animals and birds in imaginative settings. Narratives arise as the work proceeds.
