LAYERED PROCESSES - A group exhibition from July 25 - August 29, 2026

Layered Processes is a large group exhibition featuring over 50 artists from across New York State-many of whom regularly work across broad techniques and layers in addition to formulating rich and diverse process-based series.  Both 2D and 3D work is featured in this exhibition.  Processes range from thick glaze and pour techniques within acrylic, traditional oil painting (fat over lean), watercolor lifts, distressed work, addition/subtraction, mixed media, montage photography, ceramic, sculpture, and beyond.

These featured artists truly demonstrate the depth of the inquisitive and active artistic practice.  They each reveal and embrace a unique set of individual processes and techniques.  The artists demonstrate both a spectrum of newly developed techniques as well as longer inquiries spanning years or decades of practice.

Overall, we are thrilled to feature the dynamism and range of work by these talented artists.  We hope you enjoy this exhibition which runs through August 29, 2026 in the Main Gallery.
