A solo exhibition by Nancy Holowka

"As I enjoyed an early morning stroll along Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, I photographed these Accidental Compositions - intriguing shapes and textures on a wall covered with the remnants of paper advertisements. A selection of these varied and colorful compositions is presented here for your own interpretation and enjoyment.

As a continuation of my multihued Isolated Window Scenes, I photographed the hands of fashion mannequins through the plate glass windows of Manhattan’s grand department stores. These images illustrate the eloquence of these silent gestures in subtle and rich tones of black, white and grey." — Nancy Holowka
