'Off The Edge' features 2D and 3D work by Artist, Pat Bacon
Landscape elements shaped by both design and history form the vocabulary of this work. It responds to daily news about acDons increasingly sliding off the edge of established norms. The images are developed from small watercolor drawings of poison ivy vines pulled from living trees; the process exposes the tentacles of connections and the tree's debris.
I have continued to exhibit nationally for over 50 years. My work is held in private and public collections, including the Castellani Art Museum (Niagara University), Visual Studies Workshop (Rochester, NY), Light Works Collection (Syracuse, NY), and Philadelphia Medical Center (Philadelphia, PA).
