Jane Waggoner Deschner

Mixed media artist  |  Montana

Artist in residence January 2018

"I earned my MFA from Vermont College in 2002. After working for over a decade to explore our collective narrative through vernacular photographs,
I am currently obsessed with searching obituaries published throughout the United States and Canada for interesting expressions I use to narrate the photos. 'Remember me', a series of these photographs, will be shown in a solo exhibition at the University of Michigan–Dearborn in 2018."
