Jeff Scholfield

Installation artist |  Detroit, MI

Artist in residence November 2019

"My art practice explores the human dimensions of sustainable living by examining contradictions and absurdities embedded in our current consumer culture. I upcycle found objects, such as beach litter, salvaged wood, newspapers, car parts and everyday detritus, into irreverent art installations. Through subversion and parody, my artworks comment on human transgressions of both natural and constructed environments."
