Lauren Pitcher Stone

Interdisciplinary artist  |  New Jersey

Artist in residence September 2019

"My art is an exploration of identity and existentialism. I hold in high reverence the paradoxes of our world and look to express the relationship we have with our existence. While most of my work is conceptually based, I place great importance on the preciousness of creation and being a creator. This power that exists in art relates to the power of our bodies and the imprint it has through the ages and into the future."
