Alysha Auerbach

Alysha Auerbach (Columbus, OH)

“I enjoy making utilitarian pottery for everyday use. I strive to not only concentrate on the functional aspects of my wares, but the aesthetic as well. I am inspired by textures and patterns, and I aim to make pots that will add a measure of beauty and comfort into the homes of all who use them.”
Alysha Auerbach resides in Columbus, Ohio with her husband Dylan Auerbach, and together they share a studio. Alysha received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Ceramics from The University of Central Florida. Upon graduation, she apprenticed for Logan Wannamaker in Taos, New Mexico. Alysha is drawn to textures and patterns and incorporates these elements into her ceramic pieces. When not in the studio, Alysha enjoys volunteering with her church’s prison ministry, hanging out with family, and being in nature.
