Student Painting Exhibition

Grade Level / Age:

Grades 6 – 12

About the Instructor:

Participating art teachers from Ontario, Wayne, Monroe, Livingston, Seneca, and Yates counties work with their students to create work for this exhibition.

Each year since 2014, Main Street Arts has held a student painting exhibition on our second floor. The exhibition is open to students in grades 6–12 in Ontario, Wayne, Monroe, Livingston, Seneca, and Yates Counties. This annual exhibition gives local students the opportunity to see their work in a gallery setting.

Students each receive a 5 x 7 inch canvases and make paintings based on a theme. Past themes include: Only in My Imagination (2014), This is What Adventure Looks Like! (2015), Dreamscapes (2016), Self Portraits (2017), Colorful Creations (2018), WILD! (2019), and Open Minded (2020).

The Paint on this Canvas is Still Drying!
